SolaForm Ltd. is a Belfast based company spinout founded in 2014 with strong research links to Ulster University.
By combining industry experience and quality research Solaform’s driving objectives is to develop new market ready, customer focussed, innovative solar based technologies that make a cost-effective change to people’s lives.
Once this technology is developed Solaform enters the market through a process of licensing and technology transfer, managing and supporting a ‘licensing out’ business model. The research and development and generation of near market innovative solar thermal technologies is central to the company’s business strategy.
Solaform’s innovative solar thermal hot water technology offering....SolaCatcher.... has been deployed and trialled in a Northern Ireland community housing schemes and in Botswana as part of a Innovate UK Energy Catalyst funded project to bring off grid solutions to rural villages.
